Mid-Autumn festival

When I was a small kid, I remember that every time today, we will have a celebration/gathering with cousins. we would be playing catching/ice and water/swings etc (kids nowadays prefer to play mushrooms-wtf?!?) and play with sparklers I would get scared and run away -.-''' not only that, I will always play with the paper lantern and light up all the candles and then just burn the paper lantern once it hit 12 midnight. I know I sounded sadist, but hey, at least I did not burn the leaves like what my cousins does every year *roll eyes*

Not only that, there was one time, I remember, during mid-autumn festival there would always be celebration either at Chinese garden or Chinatown, that year when I went, the theme was disney and there would be micky and minnie mouse, donald and daisy and many more disney characters. Mummy even bought a micky fan and umbrella(which I lost it in school one day) -.- one of the happiest memory I had when I was a kid.

When I got to secondary school, I think that having such celebrations is a waste of time, rather spend it together with secondary friends since at that time, friends are somewhat more important than family. not only that, we would go all the way to the park near our school, and throw sparklers into the school field hopping that the school will be on fire so that the next day we won't need to attend school. naive thoughts yeah. then we would order pizza delivery and use fake name such as BOBO and BUBU, wth right. The pizza delivery man can even get the wrong address and we ended up walking 2 rounds around the park and school just to find the pizza man. One of the most happiest moments during my secondary days.

For now, I don't really have the atmosphere to celebrate right now, it's like grown up and burning lanterns and sparklers just don't seems to appeal to me any more. Don't talk moon cakes to me because I've stop eating it ever since I got a bad cough and fever after eating loads of it. The playground below me is full of smokes and sparkler's noise and candles plus lanterns. Gosh.

This is how I spend my Mid-autumn festival. Went over to Clement's house, quarrelled a little and make up after that, sleep, wake up and he treat me bubble tea and fries because I'm hungry and I only ate instant cup noodles for lunch at home. Went home after that and watch television programs and now I'm right here Blogging (: HAPPY MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL! :DDDD Though mine was not a blast, but I'm somewhat satisfied with mine. BYE PEEPS. off to webcam with Weiyi, she's bathing now. that bird ah! :(
