My first thought was: "Why would a student taking business management dip would be attached to SAFRA Yishun?"
When I first went in there, I realized that there is no one going together with me, I.am.alone. Not like some lucky others out there who got classmate/course mate together in the same place. I got totally no one, making friends was so hard in a working environment as compared to the ones in schools. There are elders that you would need to respect, and someone watching your every movement before grading you. 20module credits, big deal to me actually.
And then slowly, I started warming up with the rest of my colleagues, doing funny funny stuffs, having my first working desk etc, my first name tag, my very first access card etc, all of them bring good memories to me. Nope, I've never worked for my whole entire life. It's not a glorious thing, neither is it shameful either. For the whole of my 19years, it's my first time, excited much? :)
Pay is not bad, I go to work at 10am, hence I shall not complain. Events is really interesting, planning events and executing it, and seeing the whole event work, and you know that the effort put in is worth it. A great sense of achievement I must say. It makes skipping meals worthwhile.
Eating with my colleagues and my boss. The only thing that got me staying motivated, lunch time, and going home time. Would share alot of things during lunch, and sometimes colleagues would pay for my drinks just because im an intern, I feel so privileged. (:
My boss is super animated, he never fail to make me laugh so hard, so drama king seriously. I've never seen any boss like that. The typical image of a boss is; doesn't go lunch with us, don't even know my name, even when I'm leaving he also don't know. Nonetheless joke around etc. He's totally opposite. Best boss ever.
My colleagues are all funny and caring too, always treating me well and never bully me, just because I'm an intern, even helped me whenever I needed it. Whenever I'm bored, I would go and talk nonsense with them and just laugh it off for the next few mins. I got some colleagues who loves to burp also!!! And they blamed me for it =.=''' which is totally LOL-ED.
Went USS with them too, and help them to deco the clubhouse, it was totally, A.W.E.S.O.M.E, (if not for the sudden stomach ache, I would have played harder) All the lame things/stuff that I did in the office was uncountable :P HAHAHAHAHA!!! Thinking about it makes me laugh even harder, seriously, awesome colleagues I have. All of them are so in!!!! Got one even go DISCO and DANCING and SHOPPING on weekdays without fail okay!!! ;)
Last day of intern, I will never forget it! :D
