Watched Hunger Games with da boy on Sunday before I go off for church. It's quite okay I guess, not as fantastic as Harry Potter but in my opinion, it is only a slight margin better than Twilight. I know many of you would disagree with me saying that HG would win Twilight hands down though.
Survival of the fittest, that's all I can think of when I was watching the movie. Then I wonder about the education system in Singapore. How we would "kill/backstab/posion" many of our peers or sacrifice our friends in order to achieve the desired grades needed to survive in a competitive society in Singapore.
Sometimes, in order for your own survival, it is a must to kill. Whether you kill it "softly" or "hard" it doesn't matter, because you are still killing the others anyway. I believe the only day whereby we would stop mentally killing would be the day when people put others before themselves in the name of Love.
But that would be fairytale, isn't it?
